With the last of this weekend’s cold front having passed through, we’ve weighed anchor and have started to head north up the east coast. Our plan is to shoot for the west end of the Cape Cod Canal, anchor outside to make sure we catch the right current window, then continue up to Boston. Aiming to get there by Thursday/Friday.

Though a longer stop over than expected, Lewes turned out to be a lovely little beach town. The town dockmaster was super helpful when we had to dock in town to get provisions and we even managed a little swim to shore from where we anchored.
Keep an eye on our tracker over the next week to see where we are!
An unfortunate update on the outboard engine…. Despite many hours of trying to fix it we determined it's too far gone. If anyone from the manliness police asks, Michael claims it was “scored beyond repair.” Thankfully we were able to find a local marine store with one in stock, and had a life saver of an Uber driver who was willing to take us to pick it up and drive us back at no extra charge 🥹. Our brand spanking new Tohatsu has already proven it's mettle with a little morning joyride and hopefully many more rides to come.

The hero in this chapter of the Harvest Moon saga goes to the Uber driver for sure. Thanks Uber guy or gal!
Is the outboard motor fixed?
